본 연구의 목적은 사회복지시설 종사자 중 서비스 대상자를 가장 가까이에서 돕는 일선실무직군(생활지 도원, 요양보호사, 간호사/간호조무사, 사회복지사)의 전문직 삶의 질 수준과 관련 요인에 대해 탐색하는 것 이다. 연구대상은 대전 소재 사회복지시설 종사자 중 직접서비스를 제공하는 일선실무직군 397명이다. 자 료수집은 2014년 10월 1일부터에서 14일 동안 진행되었다. 사회복지시설 종사자에게 우편으로 조사표를 발 송하고 반송봉투를 통해 회수하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저, 전문직 삶의 질의 긍정적 하위차 원인 공감만족은 낮고, 부정적 하위차원인 소진과 이차 외상성 스트레스는 높게 나타났다. 공감만족이 높은 집단은 17.5%였으며, 소진과 이차 외상성 스트레스는 각각 80.0%와 82.5%가 중등도 이상인 것으로 나타났 다. 다음으로, 회귀분석결과 연령이 적고 업무부담이 많을수록 소진과 이차 외상성 스트레스가 높게 나타났 다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 사회복지시설 일선실무직군의 직무관련 삶의 질 향상 방안을 제안하였다
The purpose of this study was to explore the level of professional quality of life(ProQOL) and determining factors among front-line social work related professionals(e.g., residential care workers, geriatric care workers, registered nurses, nurses’aid, social workers) who provide direct services to clients. The data were collected from 397 front-line workers practicing in Daejeon metropolitan city. Surveys were distributed from the 1st of October 2014 for 14 days via mail and asked participants to return the survey using return-envelop provided with the survey. Overall results show low compassion satisfaction and high burn-out and secondary traumatic stress(aka compassion fatigue). Among total respondents, 80% were included in the high risk of burn-out, 82.5% were included in the high risk of secondary traumatic stress, and only 17.5% showed high level of compassion satisfaction. Based on the demographic and work-related characteristics of survey respondents, age and workload were relationship with burn-out and secondary traumatic stress. Based on these findings, implications were made.
