영유아기 발달의 문제를 발견하고 중재하는 일은 중요한 일이며, 영유아의 발달에 대한 부모의 인식과 이해의 정도는 치료의 골든타임에 영향을 미칠 것이다. 영유아의 위한 조기 중재의 목적은 발달을 촉진하여 장애를 예방, 최소화하며 가족생활의 질을 향상시켜 2차적으로 발생할 수 있는 문제를 방지하는 것이다 본 연구는 영유아의 언어발달 및 언어치료에 대한 예비부모의 인식을 알아보고자 하였으며, 언어발달에 대한 지식 및 조기중재 필요성에 대한 인식, 언어치료에 대한 인식, 언어치료와 발달에 대한 전문교육 참여도를 알아보았다. 첫째, 언어장애를 동반할 장애의 종류, 언어치료 서비스기관에 대한 인식은 높은 것으로 보이나 현재 국가에서 운영하는 바우처에 대한 이해는 상당히 부족한 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과의 이유는 대부분 바우처 사업의 홍보부족으로 인해 모르는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 언어발달에 대한 인식은 언어장애에 대한 인식보다 높은 편이었다. 언어장애에 대한 인식에서 잘 모른다고 응답한 사람이 많았으며 이를 위한 교육이 절실하다고 할 수 있다. 셋째, 언어발달과 언어장애에 대한 인식이 높았는데 이는 대중매체를 통해 알게 된 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 예비부모를 위해 아동의 발달에 대한 교육과 그에 대한 대비책이 대중 매체를 통해 이루어져야하며 이는 국가적 지원으로 이루어져야한다. 본 연구는 발달이 늦어지거나 언어치료가 필요한 아동을 조기에 선별하고 이에 대한 중재를 지원하기 위한 방안을 모색하는 연구이다. 따라서 예비부모의 발달에 대한 인식 결과를 바탕으로 부모가 되기 전 언어발달을 포함한 아동양육에 대한 교육이 필요함을 시사한다.

The purpose of early intervention for infants and toddlers is to prevent development, to prevent and minimize disability, and to improve the quality of family life, thereby preventing secondary problems. The purpose of this study was to investigate the pre – parent perception of language development and speech therapy in infants and young children. Knowledge of language development and recognition of need for early intervention, perception of language therapy, participation in professional education for language therapy and development. First, the type of disability that accompanies language disorders and the perception of language therapy service organizations seemed to be high. but It can be seen that there is a considerable lack of understanding of the vouchers currently operating in the country. The reason for this result is that most of them do not know because of the lack of publicity of the voucher business. Second, the perception of language development was higher than the perception of language disability. However, there are many people who do not know well about the recognition of language disabilities. Third, the perception of language development and language disability was high. This can be seen through the media. Therefore, education for the development of the child and preparations for it should be made through the mass media for the pre-parents. This should be done with national support. The purpose of this study is to identify early childhood developmentally retarded children who need language therapy and to find ways to support intervention. Therefore, it is suggested that education on child care including language development pre-parents is necessary based on the recognition result of pre-parents
